Uzbek Short Face Tumbler

Uzbek - stands for "from Uzbekistan", which is a country in Central Asia. The capital city is Tashkent where this breed mainly was developed, but throughout Uzbekistan and surrounding countries work was done to develop different colors and to bring the breed to perfection, there are about 80 different markings of colors.  The standard of Uzbek Short Face Tumbler has been translated by David Kvach and Steven Kvach and was published in the National Pigeon Association USA The Book of Standard in 2009.
This breed is very popular not only in Uzbekistan, but also in Russia, Greece and throughout Europe.
Germany has the largest selection of this breed, thumbs up to German breeders and now little by little, this wonderful breed of pigeons is starting to show up in US cities.
